Aimed at an E4 audience, Mr & Mrs was not only able, but encouraged, to let rip with adolescent scribbles, that were simultaneously childish and dark to reflect the conflicted personality of Rae Earl, the show’s protagonist. The show opens with Rae emerging from a stint in a psychiatric unit, but we quickly see that she’s still an angsty teenager who worries about the usual things and has a fierce sense of humour. We liked Rae a lot.

I had a great time animating the title sequence and doing tons of very juvenile on-screen doodles, which represent Rae's thoughts and diary entries for Mr&Mrs.
